The 18th Biennale of Sydney

A typical sun drenched weekend may always start by breakfast in a cafe but that is where the predictions cease to come to fruition. This is no more true than when a Bacon & egg roll lead to a cycle around Sydney to a Sign that read “Free ferries to the 18th Biennale of Sydney” then boom!, I was at Cockatoo Island. I’d visited the island before to watch the Red Bull X-Fighters finals, but that time, a time of extreme ferry queue-ing and matching queues at the bar was a completely different experience than I had this time. Art aside I was in awe of the decommissioned machinery in the place, but yet again Sydney serves up another A class event that keeps us all thawed until the summer.
